Coming back to this two years later is REALLY funny, especially because there's a LOT of weird inexplicable similarities & funny coincidences between myself and Savathun as crazy as that sounds -My fashion preferences match the classical description of the Devil at the Crossroads, down to owning a black wide-brimmed hat + cloak and dressing in all black -My general demeanor is similarly amicable -I've always lived near/around nature, usually right next to a crossroads. -My favourite characters tend to have an affinity for butterflies and all have VERY similar personalities to Savathun (Yuyuko Saigyouji from Touhou, Vortigern from Fate Grand Order, Beatrice from Umineko are a few examples) -Many friends have remarked that I'm some kind of fae creature lol -My calling card on my Arc hunter is the Dragonfly Regalia cloak w/ the Mystophospor shader, which makes it look like butterfly wings -Mothkeepers are my favourite exotic ever released

i hoping from destiny 3 we get a clean run.... a new character and just 1 class that can do all supers. and maybe add Cabal and Fallen as play able characters if not fallen then at leats give us the Fallen, as for who we can still fight. well Cabal story we can pretty much say is done whats left is our Allies, the fallen still has eramis as if she will be a Allie or Enemy has yet to truly be seen but i feel as her heart is in a place of regret, the Vex is still a very dangerous threat, the Hive, Savathun is still around all though not a Threat but we all know sher will turn on us at some point, but that being said that wont happen untill we have beat and killed Xivu Arath, but there is also the last 3 worm gods left, that being Eir, Ur, Yul, so hive story is far from finished. also we have no clue what has happened to the Leviathan of Fundament, could be alive or dead or end up being something we have to fight unknown at this point. The Ahamkara, yes we saved the eggs of Riven and said eggs are with Mara, but whos to say that the Ahamkara are truly all killed since we dont know they could be out there in the destiny universe somewhere. now the huge one which is the Nine, yes they have helped us out many times in arming us in the fight against the darkness but whos to say they are just waiting for the witness to be killed by us before they can start takening over all enemy forces and be our main enemy. now. what if a new faction takes place. and we have to fighrt and kill Guardians what if our own kind becomes enemy's (dont take this one too heart this is just wishful thinking on my part). now what about what ever the Drifter saw on that moon he and his team mates where on once, we truly know next to nothing about those beings. or what if one of the races Bungie once made come into play in destiny 2 and guess fact defeating the witness awoken that race up and now they are coming for us but the thing is what ever that is turns out to be what made the darkness and light in the first place and this whole time they have been waiting to end all life unlike what the witness is trying to do cause yo i dont think the witness is truly bad but hes doing things in a way he knows that has to be done in order to fight the real evil coming to us. anyways the destiny universe over all has many possiblities on where the story can go next with destiny 2, i also expect the chaptors to maybe finish some storys

Honestly I would like to see the main plot be centered around the Ahamkara but not in the normal: "Go kill the big bad" kind of story. Like you said, they're shapeshifters, so I like the idea of a single Ahamkara infiltrating the tower akin to Savathun but different enough to fool the tower. After that, it becomes more of a chess match than a fight. Maybe in order to get a leg up on the dragons, we sacrifice The Moon before striking at one of their clutches in retaliation. Either that or we potentially end up tricking one of the Ahamkara into giving up "classified" information about the location of a different Ahamkara, to which we then go and slay it from the deception. I think a more clandestine and wetwork-like approach to that story would work wonders.

A evil guardian faction would be dope, like the first handful of risen are hunting those that use light or dark, or have the traveler be the good guy and his creator is the real villain

The real enemy is the toxic part of destiny. The players who think it's okay to kick other players before they claim they're exotic from pantheon. The players who abuse systems like raid report which is supposed to be used as a way to see if someone needs to be taught a raid or if they know how to do the raid it should not be used as a tool to kick people out of content because you don't want to help newer players. The fact that bungie allows this kind of behavior to run rampant through the community they are the darkness. It's not like bungie is blind they first-hand experience what I'm talking about they had to ban people off twitch the second string for final shape because players were being toxic towards developers!!

that old gameplay makes me really want a substantial sniper buff. I don't think I've ever seen snipers be that effective in destiny since I've started playing back in season of dawn.
